New Scientific Discovery
We are not merely chemical beings. We are electro-magnetic energy, we are powerful, we can change, and we can heal. New scientific research and discovery open up a whole new world and way of addressing our health concerns.
The body is a self-healing mass of vibrating intelligence. We all started as one cell that divided over and over again to make us who we are. We had nothing to do with it. We get cut, the body heals, we get sick, the body heals, unless…We overload the body and immune system to such a degree that it literally cannot get back up again.
This is where we are as a nation - with an epidemic of autoimmune disease buckling the knees of a vast majority of our people. Tackling this problem solely via chemistry and biology is challenging, time consuming, and simply cannot be done by most of us.
The Energy Field
Energy medicine is a fast-developing way to look at healing, though it's not entirely new. As ancient traditional Chinese medicine and the likes of Reiki have already shown us, there are many ways to work on the energy body. Acupuncture is probably the most well-known, while Reflexology, and talk therapies like EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) are increasingly popular, all working on the meridians.
However, where we once thought of the body as merely a heavy biological suit that becomes cumbersome when sick, and in the ageing population, we are now understanding that our power over this energy system is truly remarkable, empowering, and exciting.
But with that comes responsibility. We affect our energy system with everything we think, see, do, believe, and perceive. We affect it with the choices we make on a daily basis.
When it comes right down to it, we have 2 overarching choices: a) to live in alignment with nature; or b) to ignore and live disconnected to nature.
Alignment creates harmony and balance while disconnection causes lack of ease, i.e. disease. The belief that someone else makes us well or that a pill can fix us despite our lifestyle choices, now seems a bit old-fashioned. Handy as that would be, we are now beginning to understand that to be truly healthy, happy, joyful, alive and full of energy, that means we need to make different choices.
When you see the body as a vibrating mass of energy, in constant interaction with the unified field of energy, the Universe, life becomes a lot more interesting.
Tuning in to a New Way of Thinking
We realise that we have a much greater influence over our lives than we previously realised. This energy mass we call the body, sends out and receives signals all day long.
With our hearts and minds we can communicate into the energy field and we can attract information back. You have probably heard of the Law of Attraction - well, there is a lot of truth in that, we do have the power to create. Using our imagination, our intention, attention, and focus, via our hearts and brains, we can literally - like a radio - tune in to anything we want.
Unfortunately, nobody trained us how to use this creation process. As a result, most of us are defaulting to the worst-case-scenario due to the fight or flight response, and survival state is being turned on by accident.
Learning how to override that state and put ourselves (or as we say, “Our-Cell’s”) back into the meditative, calm states where we can use our power to look for the best-case-scenario is central to new scientific developments.
The Subconscious Mind
The most misunderstood part of our humanness is the subconscious mind.
We all know the conscious mind that talks to us all day every day, but the subconscious is much trickier to get to know. It's like the hard drive in a computer - storing the information it receives since our conception.
Everything we have perceived is in there...pain, betrayal, joy, abuse, experiences, the works.
Why is this important?
Because this information has a vibration and a metaphysical weight.
And like the computer, when there is too much out-of-date, irrelevant, and unhelpful information being stored, it slows us down. But it also changes our vibration.
This is why we need to clean it out, and let go of everything and anything that no longer serves us.
There are many ways to do this, like breathing exercises, talk therapies, touch therapies, exercise, intention...too many to mention!
But understanding that you may be being ruled by your past, is critical to understand if you are serious about personal development and expansion for the betterment of your overall health and well-being.
You need to Spring clean and clear space to make room for new ideas and habits.
Life is full of proverbial straws that we can pile on, or take off. It's up to us, once we understand.
But there is a straw that will break the camel's back if we do not.
So putting all those old habits, experiences, and self-limiting beliefs into the metaphysical bin will really lighten your load for your next adventure.
Moving Towards Collective Health
True health is also about how we are in this world, not just about diet and exercise with a few supplements thrown in for good measure.
A healthy nation requires community, real food eaten fresh from the ground, working with the circadian cycles, tending to our land, being in her light and dark, looking after each other, and creating amazing things that benefit the collective.
It requires looking inside and harnessing our ego and the need to be right.
It requires brilliant communication on all levels, transparency and honesty, combined with a determination to sort things out in a fair way, that benefits the collective.
It requires a ground swell of like-minded people who realise the power within each one of us and is inspired to light that up in others.
It requires dissolving of the old ways to make way for the new, where everyone matters, not just the rich and powerful.
All over the UK, communities are popping up…around wild swimming, permaculture farms, forest bathing, foraging for herbs, plants, mushrooms, and seaweed. The movement is on! Change is happening and people are taking back control of their lives and land.
The current strategy and way of living is slowly killing us. Getting back into a symbiotic relationship with our Mother Earth is the only way for us not just to survive but to thrive. The unnecessary and unsustainable destruction of insects, animals, birds, fish, and top soil all has to stop, as does the pollution of our air, water, land and food.
